As-Salaamu alaikum

Alhamdulillah - 'The praise is for Allah' This invocation is said by the Muslim upon any occasion of joy, acceptance of an occurrence good or bad, or as a response to an inquiry of 'How are you?'. Its meaning is very broad and it denotes giving thanks to Allah as well as reaffirming that He Alone is to be praised for all that occurs.
