Adhere to Jama’ah

Umar (Radhi Allahu Anhu) gave a speech in Al-Jabiyah (Syria) and said:

“The Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam) stood as I am standing now and said:

‘Be kind to my Companions, then those who come after them, then those who come after them. Then there will come people who will swear an oath before being asked to do so, and will give testimony before being asked to do so. whoever among you will like to attain the centre of Paradise, let him adhere to the Jama’ah (the main body of Muslims), for the Shaytan is with one, but he is further away from two. No man is alone with a woman but the Shaytan is the third one present. Whoever among you feels happy when he does a good deed and feels bad when he does a bad deed is a Believer.’”
